OpenBSD has a driver called wpi which supports the Intel 3945ABG wireless card. The driver is not based on the Linux driver provided by Intel instead it has been written by the developers of OpenBSD. There is also a project ongoing to port this driver to FreeBSD see FreeBSD wpi wiki
